Role: Traveling Electrical Technician Location: Traveling Duration: Contract to hire Compensation: $30 - $40 Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Job Description: Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose problems, repair broken electrical components, and install updates for outdated electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical problems. Oversee training for co-workers as needed. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines and daily deliverables (i.e. pictures, signed checklists, As-Built, etc.). Resolve conflict while maintaining positive relationships at all levels. Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and component devices are operational. Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements. Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign. Maintain the company's high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior and appearance. Experience as a Commercial and/or Industrial Electrician. Ability to read blueprints and comprehend SOW documents. Dependable – must show up to work on time daily. Knowledge of industry standards and current NEC requirements. Safety conscious, follow all applicable PPE guidelines. Has basic hand tools and PPE. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to coach, motivate and mentor field staff Self-motivated, career-minded, looking for a place with advancement opportunities. Ability to thrive in a high pressure environment. Proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and database Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, ect. Advance troubleshooting skills. Demonstrate effective capability in problem solving and analytical thinking. Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written. Strong attention to detail.
