Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring current IA and IL licensure, Epic EMR experience, and ACLS/BLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
• Direct care for patients recovering from anesthesia
• Floating to other units is required
• Utilizes Epic electronic medical records system
• Work schedule may include holiday coverage and limited time-off restrictions during peak periods
• Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and care in the PACU
• Must be prepared to float to different units as needed to support hospital operations
• Travelers may not be eligible if employed by the client facility within the last 12 months
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Requests for time off during designated holiday periods are limited

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN licenses for both IA (or compact) and IL required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment in a similar setting
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• References: One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years
• Copy of valid driver's license required
