Location: Havre, MT (North Central MT – 40 miles south of the Canadian border)
Shift: Rotating Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Assignment Type: Travel/Contract
Call Requirement: Rotational call

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced LDRP Registered Nurse to provide quality care to obstetrical patients and their newborns. The RN will manage patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods , as well as provide newborn care using the nursing process. This position requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a remote healthcare environment .

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Provide safe, effective newborn care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Support patients and families with education and communication.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in rotational call schedule as required.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards

Active Montana RN License (or Compact License).\n\nCurrent certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.\n\nMinimum of 1–2 years of recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred.\n\nAbility to function effectively in a rural healthcare setting.\n\nReliable transportation required.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nFacility Location: Havre, MT (remote area).\n\nTravel Policy: Will NOT accept in-state Montana travelers unless they live 250+ miles away from the facility.
