Position Title: Temporary Staff Accountant – Heather’s Department

Location: 100% Onsite – Oklahoma City, OK

Assignment Duration: 3–6 Months (Potential for Extension)

Pay Rate: $24–$27 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Staff Accountant to support Heather’s Department with essential accounting functions. This 100% onsite role in Oklahoma City will last 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. The Staff Accountant will perform monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to):

• Prepare monthly journal entries accurately and on time.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare financial statements as needed.
• Research invoice aging reports, including detailed reconciliations of payments to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support month-end close processes and resolve issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and payment research strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 100% onsite environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
