In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to process improvements. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review general ledger accounts to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with company standards. • Analyze financial data to perform reconciliations and create journal entries with precision. • Manage accounting processes for promotional trade credits, including ensuring accuracy, scalability, and proper presentation in financial statements. • Conduct financial analyses to identify and explain fluctuations in key accounts such as operating expenses, reserves, and freight costs. • Assist with the annual audit process and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. • Collaborate on special projects and perform ad-hoc financial analyses as needed. • Implement and support automated systems to streamline accounting processes and improve controls. • Monitor and evaluate financial reporting systems, suggesting enhancements to improve efficiency. • Ensure timely and accurate period-end book closures to meet company deadlines.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in finance and accounting; public accounting experience is preferred. • Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and associated platforms is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to process improvement. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented approach. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goals.6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
