Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher

As an Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. You'll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You'll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they're needed most.

Position Type: Part Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
• Security Experience: 1+ years
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report observations as required.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities in and around the premises, maintaining detailed records as directed.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing directions and answering questions regarding the location's procedures and access points.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established communication protocols.
• Complete all required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
