The New England Joint Board UNITE HERE is a union representing workers in the textile, garment, manufacturing, warehousing, laundry, human service, and hospitality industries in New England and New York. The New England Joint Board UNITE HERE is looking for people who are passionate about fighting for workers rights to join us for our Organizing Internship . The only requirement is dedication and conviction for social justice and equality. This internship will give you thorough training and real world experience in how to form new unions. You will organize people so they can bargain over all the terms and conditions of work as equals against huge private equity backed corporations. Focusing on deep rank-and-file engagement and developing strong worker leaders make UNITE HERE! An exciting place to build power with workers in the hospitality industry.
You must have the ability to work in the Southern New Hampshire area. Flexibility in scheduling preferred.
