Akkodis is Seeking a Nuclear Piping Design Engineer for location of Houston TX. This is a Direct Hire Position. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience working on nuclear products,
Salary Range: $130K- $180K/year; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors
Job Duties
Leads the development and growth of engineering nuclear services with oversight of engineering team
Provide direction and leadership to manage a team of engineers and subconsultants, and ensure they are prepared to execute and deliver.
Identify DOE and commercail market potentials (addressable market), target opportunities, key partners and clients, bidding strategy, market risks, industry events, and targeted annual bid and award revenue
Provides multiple touch points to ensure constant client engagement with key client decision-makers, teaming partners and affiliate organizations
Analyzes market data to identify trends and opportunities in the market. Provides input for strategic direction and possible expansion of design engineering services.
Coordinates with proposal managers and marketing managers and other functional areas to produce deliverables (proposals, brochures, presentations, etc.) necessary to achieve capture goals
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in a related technical field with 15- 20+ years of progressively complex experience in managing multidiscipline projects, engineering and business development activities relevant to the nuclear market.
Preference given to candidates with a successful record of developing new business related to significant construction work on nuclear facilities
Develop strategy and new commercial transaction that is typical for design engineering in the nuclear market
Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives
Candidate should have thorough understanding of design engineering processes in nuclear facilities
