A clinically integrated network actively seeking licensed Breast Imagers to join their growing team in the Orlando Metropolitan area.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday standard business hours - also open to part time
• Call: No call or weekends
• Setting: Outpatient imaging center or hospital based
• Employment: Hospital-employed practice
• Compensation: competitive base compensation + bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

The Breast Imager will:

• Supervise and interpret various breast imaging studies, including mammograms, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other specialized breast imaging techniques
• Meeting with patients to discuss their imaging results, explain any findings, and answer questions
• Perform or supervise minimally invasive procedures, such as breast biopsies
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of breast imaging procedures
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of breast imaging services within their department or institution
• Often collaborating with Breast Surgeons, Oncologists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with breast conditions or breast cancer
• Participate in clinical research and weekly tumor boards if interested
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted FL Medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Radiology Residency + fellowship in Breast Imaging
• Board Certified / Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
