*Legal Assistant (Two Openings – Real Estate & Banking / Defense Litigation)*

*Job Type:* Full-Time
*Expected Hours:* 37.5 per week
*Pay Range:* $25 – $29 per hour

A well-established law firm in Atlantic City is seeking *two experienced Legal Assistants* to join its team—one to support the *Real Estate and Banking/Financial Services* practice and the other for the *Defense Litigation* practice.

*Position 1: Legal Assistant – Real Estate & Banking*

Ideal candidates will be highly organized, proactive, and have experience in:

* Commercial Real Estate transactions
* Commercial Banking and Loan documentation
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents
* Supporting attorneys with case preparation and closing processes

*Position 2: Legal Assistant – Defense Litigation*

Ideal candidates must be well-versed in:

* Preparing legal documents and exhibits
* Electronic court filings (e-filing)
* Discovery management and litigation support
* Organizing and maintaining case files

*Key Responsibilities (Both Positions)*

* Provide confidential administrative support to attorneys
* Manage incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries
* Transcribe legal dictation and complete typing assignments
* Maintain legal files, correspondence, records, and databases
* Schedule and coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, and court appearances
* Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
* Work independently to complete assignments and meet deadlines
* Perform other administrative duties as needed

*Qualifications*

* 3–5 years of prior legal assistant experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word (document drafting and revisions)
* Experience with NetDocs is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision
* Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
