Digital Marketing Specialist

The Role
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to support Matter’s growing organic social, CRM, and email marketing programs. This role will work closely with senior digital and social leaders to implement best-in-class digital programs for clients across the agency.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a hands-on role focused on execution, optimization, and learning—ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working across teams, and building expertise in email marketing, marketing automation, analytics, and organic social.
Organic Social Media Support
Support Matter’s organic social media team by assisting with content creation, scheduling, publishing, and community management.
Help implement social media campaigns across key platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, and others as needed.
Assist with social listening, basic competitive analysis, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with creative, marketing and PR teams to ensure social content aligns with campaign goals and brand voice.
CRM, Email & Marketing Automation Support
Support the execution of email marketing and CRM programs, including newsletters, nurture campaigns, and workflows.
Build, schedule, and optimize email campaigns using HubSpot and other CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Account Engagement).
Assist with segmentation, list management, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
Help ensure best practices in deliverability, formatting, and QA.
Measurement, Analytics & Optimization
Support reporting and analytics across email and social programs, helping track KPIs and performance metrics.
Use data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
New Business & Agency Growth Support
Contribute research, insights, and performance data to new business pitches and proposals.
Support the development of case studies, POVs, and internal documentation that showcase Matter’s digital capabilities.
Participate in internal training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.
Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging tools.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on experience in email marketing and/or CRM platforms. Experience with HubSpot ideal
Foundational knowledge of organic social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter.
Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, CRM reporting, or social analytics platforms.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
Analytical and creative thinker with the ability to turn data into insights.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation: The salary for this role is $55,000-65,000. based on experience.
