Consulting Associate, Geology (Entry Level) Join to apply for the Consulting Associate, Geology (Entry Level) role at ERM . ERM is looking for a hands-on Consulting Associate, Geology to join our growing team. Working under the direction of project managers and partners, the successful candidate will work on site investigation, remediation, compliance, and hazardous waste management projects. Opportunities for travel within the United States and globally may also occur. This role offers the chance to work with ERM's technical experts, implement the latest investigation and remediation technologies, and develop your professional registration. Responsibilities: Conduct field work including sampling, aquifer testing, drilling oversight, soil logging, soil boring, monitoring well installation, well development, purging, sampling, pilot tests, and system operation. Assist in groundwater and wastewater system monitoring. Perform Phase I and II environmental assessments for property transactions. Compile data and assist in report preparation. Prepare environmental compliance documents for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Work within scope, schedule, and budget expectations. Communicate with subcontractors, regulatory agencies, tenants, and clients during field activities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent experience. Recent graduate to 2 years of experience. Willingness to perform field work and stand/walk for full days. Strong safety commitment and adherence to protocols. Effective communication and organizational skills; experience with technical reporting is a plus. Ability to work independently and in teams. Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and travel as needed. Lift at least 40 pounds. Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a vehicle required. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus. GIT or EIT certification preferred. Salary range: $65,600 – $71,953 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We offer benefits including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), and more.
