Location: Lexington, KY (100% fully onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our dynamic FP&A team. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, this critical role will drive budgeting and financial planning efforts across the organization.

🚨 Important: Candidates must have deep expertise in Hyperion.

This is a core requirement for the role, and applicants with current Hyperion experience will be highly considered.

🔑 Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support annual budget development and periodic forecasting activities.
  • Leverage Hyperion to deliver robust financial planning, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Analyze company financial performance, delivering insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of SEC filings, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Monitor capital expenditures to align with strategic and financial goals.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support key decision-making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Partner with department heads to review budgets, track variances, and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and control standards.

🧠 Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or corporate FP&A.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Hyperion is REQUIRED .
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting and financial statement preparation is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a mid-to-large-sized corporate setting.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
