Manufacturers rep located in Freeport, NY is seeking a full time, detail-oriented, energetic and self-motivated Bookkeeper to support the accounting team and controller. The ideal candidate will have meticulous organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with...
  • credit and collections
  • general ledger entries
  • bank reconciliations
  • accounts payable/receivable
  • managing company travel
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as defined by the controller.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diverse bookkeeping experience necessary
• Knowledge of QuickBooks required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision a plus.
• Some property management experience is a bonus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of managing multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced, complex setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills.
