We encourage church youth, small groups, and especially entire families to serve someone in need. Saturday, June 7th doesn’t fit your schedule? No problem. Serve when you can. Please send us pictures or any testimonies of you, your family or group serving. Thanks in advance for moving your family and others forward by serving.
Go to: carefestusa.com and see projects of homeowners that need minor repair, yard work, home painted, etc. These homes are typically of the elderly or disabled. You are serving somebody’s Grandma or Grandpa.
Consider possibly doing something to bless those living in an assisted living facility or first responders, police or firefighters.
Go to sctb.org and click on the Compassion Resource Directory. These are ministries that serve compassionately on a regular basis. Contact them and find out how you can come alongside and assist them. If you have difficulty finding a ministry in your area, give Somebody Cares a call at 727-536-2273 and they can assist you.
Give away food, clothing, drinks, or do a free car wash. Be creative. Find a need and meet it.
* Do something special to bless First Responders, Firemen and Police
* Serve at a homeless shelter
* Do Servant Evangelism. Give out free bottles of water at a park, the beach, etc.
* Help a foster parent family
To find ministries that do feedings or have food pantries, go to sctb.org and click on GET INVOLVED to see the compassion ministries resource directory
