Weekday Evening Pet Sitter & Dog Walker – Hands N Paws
Hands N Paws is looking for reliable, animal-loving pros to join our weekday evening pet care team ! If you love ending your day with wagging tails, playful purrs, and being trusted to care for pets in their homes, this could be the perfect fit.
ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN:✓ Work most weekday evenings year-round (typically 4 PM–11 PM)
✓ Service all areas within I-270 (no city restrictions): Bexley, Central, UA, Dublin, etc.
✓ Maintain reliable transportation plus a backup plan
✓ Pass a background check
✓ Commit to professional standards of care for every pet
✓ Follow Custom Care Plans – Provide feeding, meds, and evening activities exactly as instructed.
✓ Arrive On Time – Keep pets on schedule for dinner, walks, and bedtime routines.
✓ Ensure Safety – Secure leashes, gates, and monitor each pet’s health.
✓ Provide Updates – Send real-time photos and notes through our app after each visit.
✓ Earn Trust – Treat pets and homes respectfully, reporting concerns promptly.
✓ Valid License & Insured Vehicle (plus backup transport)
✓ Clean Background Check (pass screening/references)
✓ Smartphone Skills (comfortable with scheduling & documenting visits)
✓ Physical Readiness (walk dogs, lift pets, handle energetic animals)
Evening team members are paid 50% base commission on all pet services completed. Rates include:
💲 $12 (20-min visit) | $13.50 (30-min visit) | $20 (45-min visit) | $26 (60-min visit)
Earning Boosts:
✓ $3–5 for multi-pet households
✓ $10 for same-day requests
✓ $15 for holidays
✓ 100% of tips (often $5–$20+)
Biweekly payroll via direct deposit.
Important Note:Evening work is an important part of our client service — ensuring pets are fed, walked, and comforted before bedtime. You’ll often be the last friendly face they see before their humans return or before an overnight sitter takes over. This role requires punctuality, a calm demeanor, and attention to detail to ensure every pet ends their day feeling safe and cared for.
