American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certifications and strong proficiency in advanced IR procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in an interventional radiology department serving inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU populations
  • Procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, peripheral interventions, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic, and upper/lower extremity cases
  • Required use of PACS, C-Arm, contrast, micro catheters, micro wires, pushable/detachable coils, Snare Kits, and injector systems (preferably ACIST)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Day shift; 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call is required an average of 10 days per month, including one weekend
  • Floating not required within the facility
  • Duties include performing a full spectrum of IR procedures and utilizing specialized IR equipment
  • Team support provided within a tertiary care hospital environment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Scrubs are provided; parking is onsite at no cost
  • Applicants must be available to work 4 out of the 8 major holidays
  • All RTO must be submitted with the initial application
  • Two professional supervisory references from the past 2 years are required

  • Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
  • Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR, PACS, C-Arm, and advanced IR procedures
  • Work experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings required
  • Must be able to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems
  • License required if applicable
  • Candidate must reside more than 70 miles from the facility
