Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Neuro IR Technologist with ICU and Neuro IR experience for a day shift position in a medical imaging radiology unit.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Medical Imaging - Radiology department with 2 Cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR suites
• Member of the Stroke Team with responsibilities related to neurointerventional radiology
• ICU experience is required
• 10-hour day shifts with hours 07:00-15:30 when not on call and 07:30-16:00 when on call
• Call rotation is one week on, two weeks off, with maximum at every 3rd or 4th week
• No floating required
• 5 days of orientation (8-hour shifts)
• EPIC charting system required; Epic Cupid preferred; use of Siemens equipment, Alaris, and Omnicell
• Procedural scrubs are provided
• Free parking is available
• Approval for time off must go through the manager
• Holiday coverage and weekend rotation will be discussed during the interview
• Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 1 year of Neuro IR experience required; IR-only experience not accepted
• ICU clinical background required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification preferred and determined during interview
• Proficiency with sterile/scrub technique, Siemens Neuro IR procedures, and circulating
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• License required if applicable
