Superior Duct Fabrication is seeking to fill an opening for a new position of Transportation Supervisor at our Temope, AZ location.

***This is a Union Position*** Union membership through the SMART Local 359 Union is required. Union benefits are available to employee: medical, dental & vision insurance after required waiting period.

Must be able to pass a drug screening and have a clean driving record.

Experience needed: at least 5 years of shipping and receiving, including loading & securing of material onto flatbeds and vans, coordinating multiple daily deliveries, tracking and ensuring proper record keeping procedures.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm with occasional overtime

Responsibilities:

· Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material

· Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material

· Arrange appropriate transportation of products

· Assist customers with shipping inquiries

· Assist customers in Will Call

· Coordinate with customers on deliveries

· Manage shipping department.

· Direct staff on workload to be completed

· Train and certify new drivers and forklift operators

· Ensure trucks are loaded, correctly and completely

· Schedule outsource trucks when needed. Including coordinating contracts

· Ensure daily maintenance logs filled out for all trucks

· Ensure Preventive Maintenance is done on all trucks/forklifts

· Ensure all deliveries received are counted and put away

· Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields

· Experience in the HVAC industry preferred but not required.

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Ability to multitask and prioritize

· Strong organizational skills
