Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tractor Trailer Driver with a CDL Class A license to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. In this dual role, you will not only be responsible for safely transporting goods but also assisting in warehouse operations. If you’re looking for a position that combines driving with hands-on work in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION - Start Time is 11am

• Safely operate a tractor trailer to transport goods between our local facitlies.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Assist with inventory management and organization within the warehouse.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any issues or delays.

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a tractor trailer driver.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Experience operating a Fork lift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs

You should be proficient in:

• DOT Medical Card
• Driver's License
• Current CDL License
