Math and Reading Intervention Teacher (Certified)

Part-Time and Full-Time | Brevard County, FL

Pay: $26-$27 per hour

Position Details

Catapult Learning is seeking certified teachers to provide small-group math and reading intervention to K-12 students in Brevard County schools.

  • Part-Time (10-25 hrs/week) or Full-Time (30-35 hrs/week) schedules available

  • Positions begin 2025-2026 school year

  • Multiple school locations across Brevard County, FL

Responsibilities

As a Certified Intervention Teacher, you will:
  • Teach Reading/ELA and Math intervention to small groups of students (grades K-12) using Catapult's proven curriculum.
  • Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
  • Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
  • Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What we'll need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility
  • Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
  • Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication
  • Unwavering belief that all children can learn
