Lake Mac Casino Resort & Racetrack, scheduled to open in Fall 2025, will become our sixth resort property. Summary: The Surveillance Director manages and oversees surveillance staff and operations using a CCTV system, ensuring compliance with Nebraska State laws, Gaming Commission Rules, and internal policies to protect gaming integrity, assets, and safety. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to all guests, internal and external. Manage a department focused on protecting casino assets and ensuring adherence to internal controls and gaming regulations. Operate and maintain a 24/7 digital surveillance system in a highly regulated environment. Lead daily operations, delegate tasks, and oversee staff performance. Hire, onboard, train, evaluate, coach, and manage staff conduct. Motivate and mentor staff, fostering teamwork and a positive culture. Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage, manage time-off, and review payroll for accuracy. Recommend policy changes to the General Manager based on surveillance observations. Monitor resort activities to ensure asset protection, compliance, and safety; document incidents per regulations and report as needed. Promote cooperation and communication with other departments. Partner with Security for investigations of incidents and criminal activities. Review employee surveillance reviews with department management. Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. Prepare and manage the department budget. Assess surveillance equipment needs and recommend upgrades or replacements annually. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred. At least 8 years supervisory experience in a regulated casino environment, with 3+ years in Surveillance. Knowledge of casino cheating and theft scams. Excellent communication skills. Understanding of casino and surveillance operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office, including Excel and databases. Ability to obtain a Level 1 Nebraska Gaming License. Certificates & Licenses: Must obtain a Level III Nebraska Gaming License.
