The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the creation, continuous improvement, and deployment of Material Management through best practices and tools. This individual prioritizes production schedules based on product introductions, capacity, material supplies, and delivery schedules. This individual may make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures, direct, and indirect labor; develops schedules and proposes staffing requirements; and directly supervises associates. This position reports to the Senior Plant Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team, located in San Jose and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Drive and sustain Dynamic Kanban (right-sizing) + Inventory Management at Gemba + Supplier Management + Daily Management and Problem Solving + Project Management support + Leading and coaching Buyers, Planner, and Warehouse team The essential requirements of the job include: + High school diploma/GED with 8, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years experience + Experience leading projects or staff, supervisory experience preferred + Proven strong planning experience in low volume, high mix environment + Demonstrated buying, purchasing, supplier relationship management experience + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and MRP - Oracle, SAP, preferred + Experience with lean concepts/tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Kaizen Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The salary range for this role is $140K-155K annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
