Stand-Up Hilo/Reach Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled Stand-Up Hilo/Reach Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, and stack products efficiently and safely within our warehouse. Attention to detail, safety compliance, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

Warehouse at HexArmor Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The standard 1st shift work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. When overtime is necessary, the schedule will shift to 7:30am to 5:00pm. Additionally, some Saturdays may be required, with hours from 6:00am to 1:00pm. Additional overtime may be necessary when we reach end of month.

The 3rd shift work hours will be from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. When overtime is necessary, additional hours may require an earlier start time, as well as the possibility of additional days.

Operate a Crown stand-up hilo/reach truck to move materials and products within the warehouse.

Replenish picking locations by moving pallets of product from racking to restock inventory.

Maintain inventory by tracking product locations and quantities.

Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance needs.

Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Complete necessary documentation for inventory management and receiving.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 6 months experience on a Crown stand up hilo/reach truck.

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Basic understanding of inventory tracking and reporting.

Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Prolonged periods of standing and operating machinery.

Must be able to navigate a warehouse environment safely.

Starting at $20.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off accrual, and 401(k) matching after one year of employment.
