A school district near Linwood, Kansas is hiring multiple full-time Special Education Teachers for the 20252026 school year . Openings include both resource and specialized self-contained roles at the elementary and middle school levels. These positions are ideal for educators with a passion for supporting students with Autism, emotional/behavioral needs, and low-incidence disabilities. Open Positions:

• Elementary:

• 5 Special Education Resource Teachers

• 3 Specialized Self-Contained Teachers

• Focus areas: Autism , Functional Low-Incidence , Emotional/Behavioral Classrooms

• Middle School:

• 1 Special Education Resource Teacher

  Position Details:

• Location: Near Linwood, Kansas

• Schedule: Full-time, 20252026 School Year

• Caseloads: Assigned based on experience and program needs

• Support: Collaborative school teams and related services staff

  Requirements:

• Active Kansas SPED Certification or License (Required)

• Experience in resource or self-contained settings preferred

• Strong classroom management and IEP implementation skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
