\n\nSpecial Education Teacher Position Details
\n\nSchedule: Monday through Friday
\n\tType: Full-time, school-based contract (option to renew annually)
\n\tCaseload: Middle school students, self-contained or inclusion setting
\n\tLocation: Onsite at a public school in Beach Park, Illinois
\n\tSpecial Education Teacher Responsibilities
\n\nProvide individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals
\n\tModify curriculum and teaching methods based on student needs
\n\tImplement positive behavior strategies and classroom management techniques
\n\tCollaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
\n\tMaintain accurate IEP documentation and comply with IDEA and state education regulations
\n\tParticipate in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
\n\tSpecial Education Teacher Qualifications
\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (required)
\n\tActive or pending Illinois LBS1 teaching license (required)
\n\tPrevious experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
\n\tAuthorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
\n\tNew graduates with LBS1 licensure are welcome to apply
