Help us push the boundaries of how devices connect and share data. As a Software Engineer, Mobile Transports at Ditto, youll be part of the team responsible for advancing the core transport technologies that power Dittos decentralized networking stack. Your work will directly shape the reliability, performance, and scalability of Dittos mobile connectivity infrastructure.
This role is ideal for engineers who are excited about networking at the edge (where radios, protocols, and code all meet) and who want to build systems that make distributed networking seamless across a variety of environments.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate transport-layer technologies that leverage mobile networking features such as AWDL, Wi-Fi Aware, LAN, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Youll also help develop tools, tests, and frameworks that ensure Dittos transports perform reliably across platforms and devices.
Base Salary Range
$128,000 - $230,000 USD
Ditto uses a location-based compensation model. This means pay ranges for the same role may vary depending on where you live, based on cost of living and market data. The ranges you see on our job postings represent the full span of target compensation across all markets where we hire. Within that range, actual offers are determined by a candidates skills and experience. This ensures we remain competitive with local markets while also maintaining internal consistency and fairness in real spending power across locations.
