As a part of this mission, Discord is looking for an experienced Senior Stock Plan Administrator to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Stock Plan Administrator , you'll manage Discords global equity programs, including equity grants, option exercises, RSU releases, and more. You will collaborate with multiple departments such as Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and HR to ensure the accurate administration of equity data and provide excellent service to employees.

Youll also partner with external auditors and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting while supporting the development of processes to improve equity program administration.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Global Equity Programs: Administer Discords global equity programs, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, withholding, reporting, reconciliation, and auditing.
• Day-to-Day Stock Plan Administration: Oversee eligibility, enrollment, approvals, stock options and RSU awards, exercises, settlements, tax withholdings, expirations, and more.
• Employee Support: Provide exceptional service to employees and management, answering inquiries and educating on equity programs. Create educational sessions and communication strategies.
• Reporting: Collaborate with Legal to prepare and file Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, and 5) and manage quarterly stock plan activities.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure SOX compliance for equity plans, including documentation, testing, and audit support. Administer equity compensation following plan terms and conditions.
• Projects: Assist with additional projects as needed.

What You Should Have:

• Experience: 4+ years in stock plan administration, with experience at both private and public companies.
• Certification: Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
• Global Equity Plans: Hands-on experience with global equity plans and managing equity administration systems.
• Tools: Proficiency with Carta and Fidelity .
• Form Filings: Experience with Form 3, 4, and 5 filings .
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Passion for Equity: A strong passion for equity compensation and educating employees.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $132,000 to $148,500 annually (depending on experience).
• Additional Compensation: Equity and benefits.
