We provide frontend, backend and on-chain tools for developers to build apps & games that works on any EVM chain. Our mission is to empower developers to easily create decentralized internet products, and serve them to billions of users.

Over 100,000 developers use thirdweb every month and over 1M unique wallets have interacted with our contracts on mainnet. Companies like Shopify, AWS, Coinbase, Circle, Rarible, Animoca Brands, and so many more use our product to build and power their applications.

The role

Work with a nimble team of engineers to build and scale backend services, maintain the leading developer SDKs in web3, and innovate on new blockchain protocols. You'll make key decisions on architecture, developer experience, and implementation of critical tools, services, and systems.

What a typical week might look like

• Develop, maintain, and innovate on open source SDKs and blockchain protocols
• Scale backend services and infrastructure that interface with the blockchain
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to work on solutions to solve customer challenges, plan new features, and iterate from lessons learned
• Communicate with our customers to assist in integrating thirdweb into their application or platform
• Write documentation associated with developer-facing functions or APIs

What we're looking for

• 4+ years experience on a software development team for a product-focused web application
• Experience and interest in blockchain development
• Proven ability to take on complex, large-scale technical projects end-to-end in a team setting
• Experience in scaling backend services and infrastructure
• Excited about working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment that prioritizes delivering impact and learning over process
• Curious about technology outside of your direct expertise and have an appetite for learning
• A self-starter in proposing and carrying out technical solutions to ambiguous business problems
• Know when and how to make calculated tradeoffs to meet the needs of the customer and business

We will evaluate the candidates skillset and preferred team and companys needs to place the candidate in the right team as needed.
