As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver - Morning Shift in New Port Richey, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and/or law enforcement as required.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or activities in detailed written reports.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed patrol posts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements of the job state and Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
