+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
+ Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and the public while upholding Allied Universal standards.
+ Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed.
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
