Overview Our client is on a high-velocity growth path. The non-paid channels, especially SEO, play a crucial role in maintaining their growth with efficiency. As the SEO manager, you will be responsible for the SEO strategy, execution and outcome, globally. The day-to-day job will involve a lot of analysis, planning, and execution through in-house and external collaboration. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive business growth (customer & revenue) through SEO, AEO and other non-paid channel efforts. In the process, keep a continuous focus on growing organic traffic, improve search rankings, LLM citations and increase visibility of the company's website and online presence with accurate and updated brand positioning. Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, citation analysis and SEO audits to identify opportunities for content creation, optimization and improvements. Manage and execute SEO/AEO activities including on-page and off-page optimization, link building, citation insertions, schema, technical hygiene and content marketing initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, product marketing, design, and web development, to ensure SEO & AEO plan execution. Work closely with the content team to develop and optimize high-quality SERP-leading content that aligns with the company's target audience and business objectives. Monitor and analyze non-paid performance metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, AEO visibility, conversions, opportunities, customers and revenue generated from organic channels. Work on improving the non-paid pipeline by improving traffic quality and conversion rates. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO/AEO and changes in search engine algorithms to ensure the company remains at the forefront of organic search. Provide regular reports and analysis on SEO/AEO performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Mentor and coach 1-2 team members over time. Stay knowledgeable about competitors and industry trends, identifying opportunities for growth and differentiation in organic search. Collaborate with external agencies or consultants, as needed, to support SEO/AEO initiatives and projects. Requirements Proven experience (8–12 years) in SEO, preferably in the SaaS industry. Strong understanding of SEO concepts and experience driving SEO channel efforts. Demonstrated leadership and influencing abilities through impeccable verbal communication and problem solving abilities with strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize SEO performance. Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms. Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress (will be a plus). Strong project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
