Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Flint, MI. This contract position will involve working with students across all grade levels, focusing on delivering specialized speech and language therapy to support their educational progress.

Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Workload: Full-time or part-time options available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with varying communication needs across K-12.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with district policies.
  • Participate in virtual meetings, including team meetings and student reviews, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Adjust therapy approaches based on student assessments and evidence-based practices.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure appropriate for school services.
  • Experience working in educational settings serving K-12 populations.
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively within a school system.
  • Familiarity with IEP systems, with training and support provided by the district.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff.
