Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive support for students from PreK through 21 years in a K-12 school located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, offering approximately 37.5 hours per week working directly in the school setting. The district supports collaborative supervision and will provide oversight for candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students aged PreK to 21 years.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support communication development and address speech and language disorders.

Qualifications:

• Certification as SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or licensure as an SLP in a school setting.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably ages PreK-21.
• Ability to work independently in a contract role within a school environment.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to school-based speech therapy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
