Objective of the Role:


The Sales & Design Consultant will play a pivotal role in establishing our client's brand presence in Houston by delivering unparalleled customer service and expert design consultation. This role combines sales proficiency with design acumen to create customized solutions that meet the unique tastes and needs of each client. The ultimate objective is to drive sales growth while ensuring an extraordinary customer experience that reflects the brand's luxury ethos.

Ideal Profile:


The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in luxury furniture or luxury goods, with a keen eye for design and a passion for creating beautiful living spaces. Experience in high-end kitchen and bath solutions is highly desirable. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, with proficiency in French or Italian considered a significant advantage. A customer-centric approach, coupled with a deep understanding of design trends and product knowledge, will ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each client receives personalized attention and expert design advice.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our client's product range, including materials, finishes, and customization options.
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations to understand clients' needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements.
  • Create tailored design solutions that reflect the client's vision while aligning with the brand's luxury standards.
  • Drive sales by building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive, dynamic work environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Participate in store events and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales or design role within the luxury furniture or luxury goods sector.
  • Strong design skills and a deep appreciation for high-end aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with discerning clients.
  • Proficiency in French or Italian is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required to accommodate client schedules and store events.
