Title: RN – Registered Nurse – PACU

Position Description: RN 

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at Mease Countryside Hospital . 

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification is required
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

· 2 years of RN experience is required.

· 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred

• Interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Clinical skills appropriate to position

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Shift: Evenings

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: Yes
