Precision Lumping Services is looking for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our unloading operations across multiple warehouse locations.
Position Overview:
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for traveling between locations to oversee operations, ensure efficiency, and provide hands-on support. You must have in-depth knowledge of warehouse unloading, MOD systems, and various equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. You will work closely with team leads and supervisors to ensure smooth, effective operations and uphold company standards.
Duties
· Travel to multiple warehouse locations to oversee daily unloading operations.
· Ensure all employees are performing efficiently and meeting production standards.
· Train and mentor team leads and workers on best practices and operational procedures.
· Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to maximize productivity.
· Maintain a strong understanding of MOD systems, order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
· Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company protocols.
· Communicate with upper management regarding operational performance and staffing needs.
Qualifications
· Extensive experience in warehouse operations, specifically container unloading.
· Hands-on experience with MOD systems, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other equipment.
· Ability to travel frequently to multiple warehouse locations.
· Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to train and develop teams for maximum efficiency.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
