Reporting to the Operations Manager at our Ft. Madison facility, you will oversee 3rd shift production activities for our brands Armour, Nalley, Van Kamps, and Ranch Beans. You will lead training and development to build a high-performing operations team while driving strategic goals focused on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

How Will You Affect Our Business?

• Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.

• Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.

• Help oversee sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food safe environment.

• Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.

• Evaluate team performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for work performance improvement.

• Help support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.

Do you have what it takes?

• Experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing setting.

• Exposure to maintenance or mechanical environments

• Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety standards.

• Bachelor's degree preferred and 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing operations environment

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss prevention.

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Willingness to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and consistent employment history.

• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, with tasks involving reaching, kneeling, or crouching. You will work in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Reasonable accommodation will be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation: 

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
