Summary This position has the responsibility to produce The Mother Church’s online Wednesday testimony meeting every week. This includes both technical and content oversight and production. The Producer works with the Assistant Producer and Moderators (additional editors) to review and edit online testimony submissions for broadcast during the online Wednesday testimony meeting. The Producer is responsible for careful selection and editing of testimonies of healing to be read on air, taking into account their metaphysical soundness and appropriateness. The Producer is then responsible for producing the meeting with the Broadcast and Multimedia Production Services (BMPS) team in the studio, communicating with the First Reader, Testimony Readers, Assistant Producer, and Moderator. The work also involves corresponding with testifiers for clarification and/or editing purposes. This work begins Tuesday afternoon and continues after the Wednesday meeting, as follow up is required. Quality and excellence both technically and spiritually, confidence in good, and a joy in demonstration of Christian Science are all part of this important position. The Producer is also responsible for managing the monthly sign up of Moderators and may have occasional or ongoing projects to improve processes and communication.
