Job Description

A full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Vestal, NY. This contract role offers 30-37.5 hours per week, beginning September 4, 2025, through June 26, 2026. The caseload includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with specific numbers still being finalized.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New York State
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with pediatrics or school-based physical therapy, including direct on-site supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Prior school experience is highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students in a K-12 school environment
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student functional mobility and participation
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
