Job Description
Potter the Painter is a professional painting and renovation contractor committed to delivering high-quality results with exceptional customer service. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented House Painter to join our team. Candidates with additional experience in related trades such as drywall installation and repair, carpentry, flooring, and demolition will be given strong consideration, as these skills contribute to the diverse scope of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, prime, and paint a variety of surfaces with precision and care.
• Repair and finish drywall, including patching, taping, and sanding.
• Perform light carpentry, flooring, and demolition tasks when required.
• Operate painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.) safely and effectively.
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to the highest standard.
Qualifications:
• Prior painting experience (residential or commercial) preferred.
• Additional skills in drywall, carpentry, flooring, or demolition strongly desired.
• Knowledge of proper painting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality.
