Overview Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) – Honolulu, HI 96815. TS/SCI Full Poly clearance required; U.S. Citizenship is required. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Oracle DBA to join our team and take ownership of managing and optimizing our Oracle database systems. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical databases, implement backup and recovery strategies, and monitor system health to identify and resolve issues proactively. Position Responsibilities Install and configure Oracle databases Manage database backup and recovery processes Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks Implement and enforce database security measures Create and maintain database schemas and structures Support database migrations and upgrades Required Skills Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL Expertise in Oracle database tools (e.g., RMAN, OEM) Strong knowledge of performance tuning Experience with database replication technologies Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery strategies Ability to write and debug database scripts Desired Skills Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud) Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) Understanding of data warehousing concepts Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds) Benefits Excellent Salaries Flexible Work Schedule Cafeteria Style Benefits 10% - 401k Matching (Vested Immediately) Additional 401k Profit Sharing 30 days Paid Leave/Holiday (No Use or Lose!)
