Job Details:

Summary

This position provides production with timely and accurate schedules, job packets, specs, and other reports necessary for production. This role is crucial in identifying spec scheduling problems and inconsistencies. Additionally, it supports all other clerical tasks, including department transfers and miss-punches, and provides Kronos support.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and Reconcile : Daily review and reconciliation of production job packets.
• Inventory Monitoring : Monitor and reconcile raw materials, ingredients, and packaging inventory levels.
• Problem Resolution : Answer questions and assist in resolving issues related to production transactions, product, and recipe input.
• Report Management : Process, analyze, and distribute various daily and weekly reports while meeting set deadlines.
• Data Management : Enter and retrieve data from Ross daily; maintain production databases in Excel.
• Kronos Maintenance : Maintain data within Kronos to aid in plant reporting (Overtime lbs. man hour).
• Scheduling Assistance : Work with the scheduler to make necessary adjustments, print, and distribute the daily schedule.
• Liaison Duties : Assist Supervisors and act as a liaison as needed.
• Production Insight : Spend time in production to better understand the paperwork process.
• Clerical Support : Filing, organizing paperwork, and assisting co-workers as needed.

Requirements

• Prefer one year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience or training.
• Must have the ability to work independently, thoroughly, and in a timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must possess knowledge in Microsoft Excel such as formatting, page setup, printing, and basic formulas (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must possess basic knowledge in Microsoft Outlook such as sending emails, attaching files to outgoing emails, and opening emails and attachments.
• Must be able to take direction on different projects and be self-motivated to accomplish the task.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and talk and hear 34-66% of the time. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms 0-33% of the time.

Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson’s total compensation package.
