Clariant is currently seeking an Offshore Field Service Representative to support the Oil Services Segment of the Care Chemicals business unit in Broussard, LA. This is an on-call role with variable hours, requiring flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to operational needs. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our products and services at customer sites. The Offshore Field Service Representative will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in the oil and gas industry with a professional approach and a hands-on, customer-focused mindset. This role is well suited for individuals who thrive in physically demanding environments, enjoy working outdoors, and are comfortable being the face of Clariant while engaging directly with customers. Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service calls and requests for technical support, including emergency situations, on offshore installations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
• Represent Clariant with professionalism and integrity, maintaining a positive company image and reputation in all customer interactions
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with Clariant's products/services
• Provide on-site training to customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Clariant's products/services
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at customer sites, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering preferred, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 1-3 years in oil & gas; offshore operator background a plus
• Ability to work on-call shifts and offshore under strict safety protocols
• Knowledge of oil & gas chemical production; comfortable in outdoor environments
