The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP) is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. NG-MIP provides transitioning service members with valuable civilian work experience through an internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. The program is open to all ranks and experience levels. SkillBridge participants continue to receive military compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities for this internship include:
Northrop Grumman’s NG-MIP offers internships that serve as a pipeline for high-potential military candidates into NGC. Interns will work on-site in an entry to mid-level role, supporting a 40-hour work week. The program aims to provide professional development, networking, and training aligned with NG leadership principles and core responsibilities.
Goals: To provide job skills training during the last part of military service, leading to potential full-time employment.
Objectives: To develop highly trained, capable future employees aligned with NG’s mission, with a comprehensive internship experience including professional development and stakeholder engagement.
Outcome: To offer transitioning service members a rewarding opportunity to join Northrop Grumman.
Eligibility:
Served at least 180 days on active duty
Within 12 months of separation or retirement
Honorable discharge
Completed TAPS/TGPS
Participated in ethics brief within last 12 months
Received written approval from Unit Commander to participate

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the Integrated National Systems Business Unit supporting a Ground program. Locations may include Morrisville, NC; Aurora, CO; Fairfax, VA; or Linthicum, MD.
This role involves planning and evolving processes and infrastructure for rapid capability deployment, automation, and continuous integration/testing. The engineer will implement provisioning and deployment techniques, ensure security and quality in CI/CD pipelines, and work within agile environments. Note: This position requires onsite presence; remote/hybrid work is not supported.
This requisition may be filled at level 3 (Principal) or level 4 (Senior Principal), depending on experience and assessment.
Basic Qualifications Active U.S. DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance at application
Experience aligned with the level applied for, e.g., 5+ years with a Bachelor's, 3+ with a Master's, etc.
Experience with developing microservices, Kubernetes, AWS/C2S, Terraform, Linux, Ansible, Jira, Jenkins, Git, API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security
Security+ Certification
Preferred Qualifications Active/Adjudicated Polygraph
Experience with automation, CICD solutions, Docker, Helm, space ground segment design, Agile development, technical writing, team building

Salary Range: $100,300 - $165,500; Salary Range 2: $124,900 - $206,000. Compensation includes potential bonuses, benefits, and incentives. The application window is approximately 20 days from posting, subject to change.
