Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned healthcare professional who thrives in independent environments, maintains exceptional patient care standards, and can confidently navigate diverse clinical settings. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of phlebotomy best practices and demonstrate exceptional professionalism, accuracy, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipunctures and capillary sticks with a high degree of skill and consistency
Collect, label, and process specimens (blood, urine, etc.) according to laboratory protocols
Accurately complete all required documentation and electronic records (e.g., requisitions, patient logs)
Safely transport specimens to designated laboratory locations within specified timelines
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in homes, long-term care facilities, or other off-site settings
Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and care teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Follow infection control protocols and OSHA safety guidelines at all times
Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure equipment is properly sanitized and functional
Operate independently, manage schedule and routes efficiently, and adapt to dynamic field conditions
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of recent phlebotomy experience , with strong track record in mobile or home care settings
Certification from an accredited phlebotomy program (e.g., CPT, RPT)
Current CPR certification preferred
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic specimen labeling
Excellent venipuncture skills—must be comfortable with difficult draws, geriatric, pediatric, and high-risk patients
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exceptional bedside manner and interpersonal communication
Preferred Traits:
Experience working in long-term care , hospice , or home health environments
Comfortable working independently and managing a mobile schedule
Bilingual abilities a plus
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in mobile care settings
Compensation: 25$ an hour
