About The Role We are looking for an experienced and visionary Marketing Events Director to lead our global events strategy, planning, and execution. As a key marketing leader, you will organize in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences that engage our audience, elevate our brand, and drive growth. You will manage a team responsible for marketing programs and events, including collaborations with industry partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with event marketing expertise, operational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless execution of flagship conferences, trade shows, activations, executive programs, and networking events. Expectations for Success Define global events strategy aligned with sales and marketing goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Oversee the full lifecycle of events from planning to post-event analysis. Collaborate across teams to align messaging and objectives. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners. Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring ROI. Innovate with new formats and technologies to enhance engagement and sales. Measure performance with KPIs and feedback, and improve accordingly. Present strategies and results to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations. Requirements 10+ years in event marketing, with 5+ years in leadership within tech or B2B sectors. Proven success in delivering large-scale global events with measurable impact. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Deep knowledge of event marketing trends, virtual/hybrid platforms, and engagement strategies. Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence. Willingness to travel globally. Preferred Skills Experience in enterprise technology marketing. Familiarity with event and marketing tools like Cvent, ON24, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. Background in experiential design or brand storytelling is a plus.
