Exciting opportunity to join a confidential beauty brand pre-launch!

This newly founded makeup brand will launch in retail and DTC in Fall 2025, and is looking to build a team of industry veterans for a dynamic and successful launch and growth.

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and analytical Social Media Manager to lead and execute our social media strategy across all platforms. This role is responsible for building brand awareness, engaging our audience, and driving traffic and conversions through compelling content and campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media trends, storytelling, and community building, particularly in the beauty world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals and brand messaging.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, image, video) for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, as well as Facebook, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a strong online community.
  • Manage and grow influencer and brand ambassador relationships.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns in coordination with paid media specialists.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep our strategy relevant.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and audience research to inform content direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Experience owning a brand social account - makeup and/or founder-driven brands preferred
  • Proven track record of building growth-driving social media strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - strong copywriting and storytelling preferred
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.), and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Previous experience in influencer engagement.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills.

Salary range: 70-100K based on experience
