Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for the operation, set-up and utilization of the 5-axis mill machines as well as the other support processes used in the production of machined products. We offer a 15% shift differential when working on 2nd shift.
Come Build with Us by: \n - Performing set-up and operation of 5-axis milling machines
\n - Inspecting finish tools and analyze inspection results to confirm conformity.
\n - Performing basic TruePath operations.
\n - Consulting with supervisor and/or tooling department for cutting tools and tooling needed to complete projects.
\n - Maintaining fixtures and set-ups for use in specified projects as assigned by the product development engineer or supervisor.
\n - Being alert to any changes in machine performance and operation, promptly report any issues to your supervisor.
\n - Inspecting and documenting all operations as stated in the Quality Manual and based on requirements of the product development engineer.
\n - Performing daily maintenance on machines-Verify oil / coolant levels along with filtration systems.
\n - Supporting and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe. Report all hazards or incidents to supervisor. Cooperate and coordinate with other machinists for usage of shared shop equipment.
\n - Performing other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise: \n - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
\n - Associates Degree in machining or approved apprenticeship program preferred.
\n - 2 or more years' experience as a CNC Mill operator and/or Lathe operator including basic set-up.
\n - Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel and ERP software preferred (Epicor helpful).
\n - Basic knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y 14.5.
\n - Experience with basic blueprint reading.
\n
