Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive BI Developer with expertise in Power BI to join our team and support a critical data migration project. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering ad hoc reports, collaborating closely with business stakeholders particularly within the Sales Analytics Group to transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong blend of technical reporting skills and excellent communication abilities, with a proactive mindset and the capability to operate independently. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision making. Create and optimize data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security and governance across all reports and dashboards. Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and functionalities. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data analytics. Perform ad hoc reporting based on stakeholder needs across the Sales Analytics Group. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements. Support reporting efforts within a broader data migration initiative, ensuring continuity and clarity of insights during system transitions. Translate complex data into easily understandable visual formats and narratives for business audiences. Present insights and reporting outcomes clearly and confidently to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Identify data quality issues and collaborate with the data team to resolve them. Take ownership of tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement in reporting and data visualization. Required Skills Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on Power BI. Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Strong technical acumen with experience in SQL and database management systems e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL. Proven ability to produce ad hoc and recurring reports under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting to business leaders and stakeholders. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results with minimal supervision. Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with data migration or modernization projects is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Power BI or related technologies. Experience with cloud platforms e.g., Azure, AWS and their data services. Experience in the Sales or Sales Analytics domain. Background in supporting enterprise-level reporting systems and tools.
